English Language Courses -

General English (Full Time)

Whitechapel College’s General English language programme gives small groups of students the opportunity to practise and improve their spoken, written, reading and listening skills in general English in a friendly, supportive, interesting and unhurried interactive process that connects readily with everyday real-life situations and experiences that everyone can relate to eg at the bus or rail station, airport, bank, post office, cinema, theatre, museum, gallery, sports event or out shopping.
Individual attention, where possible and appropriate, from well-qualified, personable and experienced tutors is given to students.

Entrance Requirements
No qualification in English is required to follow this course. However, on reporting for the programme we will assess your current competency in the English language so that we can place you in a group at the right level. This is because we have four General English levels, from A1 (Beginner) on the Common European Framework of References for languages (CEFR)  to C1 (Advanced).

It may take up to twelve weeks to complete a level and then to move on the next level. However, any move completely depends on an individual’s capability.

Duration
Minimum four (4) weeks and maximum forty (40) weeks

Commencement date
Every Monday (where there is a holiday on any Monday then it starts on the next opening day)
